Comic Sexy was a fashion brand that i started up with my friend André. I designed all dresses and we had a system so you could have them tailor to fit. No child labour and lasting quality.

They have another site now, but these pictures are stills of the site for AKB as i designed it at the time.

The website for 1508 records features a player that you can drag over the site. It plays the releases from the record label and has internal and external links to the artists.
In the background, a moiré effect changes colour over the seasons. Peter Hordijk, who also built the site you are currently looking at, built that one too. If you need a website developer, contact me for his details. He’s the best.

Homepage design for the website for copywriter Titia Tijmstra. The identity needed to be playful, without being loudmouthed. She wanted to emphasize her copywriting would be about the ‘people behind your business’ so she needed an approachable feel to the identity. We figured a drawn portrait would somehow be ‘less aggressive’ and more quirky as a first impression.

Design for ‘Please Don’t Stop The Music’, an initiative by Andries van Wieren to help Dutch musicians surviving through the Covid-19 pandemic. Peter Hordijk, who also built this site, built the site.

The website for the Spinshots was the first time i worked with Peter Hordijk as a technician. This was the start of a very delightful and fruity professional relationship where we could flourish in our roles but also created a synergy when it comes to UX design. Amsterdam Klezmer Band needed an online and graphic identity. So I designed their website and a logo and stuff. The website is not in use anymore because of practical reasons. unfortunately I must say, it looked super cool.
