Cover for the amazing single ‘Lost Without You’ by Naked Ears.

Usually you see the guitarist on a cover, unless it’s Bootsy. But now there is a cover with a graphic portrait of Jasper de Beer too!

I thought it would be great to make an anomaly for the cover, since the title was ‘icebear’. I thought to myself: what does the icebear see when he looks though a hole in the ice, into the depth of the ocean?’

‘Icebear’ is Naked Ears’ first album. It came in a white fake fur coat and had this printed as it’s cover.

Naked ears is a heavy afro-funk jazz band formed around Jasper de Beer, the bass player of Amsterdam Klezmer Band. Jasper asked me to do his covers and his logo, there are tees around, I think.
